JAX-RS [Java API for RESTful Web Services],
JSF, Servlets, and EJBs.
We also expect the Java EE 7 platform to
add support for new and evolving technologies in the Web space, including WebSockets
and HTML5, and a modern HTTP client API as
defined by JAX-RS 2.0.
Modularity and versioning capabilities
are also being investigated. This work will be
coordinated with the upcoming modularity
JSR for Java SE, to ensure alignment across
the Java SE and Java EE platforms.
